Innovation Hub: In This article, I really want to define what it takes to build a truly innovative ecosystem on the continent. Why am I the best person to talk to about this? I’ve been in the innovation space now for 10 years my first product that I developed won over ten international awards we recently sold the licensing deal to a company my latest technology just won its first international award this year 2022 as one of the best innovations in the digital infrastructure by IEEE.

So, if countries take those steps, they can see a fully developed innovation ecosystem within a decade, which will eventually bring development to the country. Now, it took China around three decades, but I truly believe it can take any country ten years to fully bring an innovation innovative ecosystem. So, what steps does a country or government need to take to achieve full or partial economic independence in innovation? There’s no doubt that economic growth, development, and innovation go hand in hand, but you have to do the first thing first, and then the rest will fall into place. As I always say, don’t focus on the goal, focus on the process, and today I want to talk about what steps need to be taken, particularly in Africa.
